3. I've thought for awhile that the trump cult is at least partially due to the failure of public

education in the US. Seeming inability to look at evidence and come up with a logical conclusion. Choosing their own alternate reality. Media plays a big part but even that doesn’t seem to cover the faulty thinking process. I’ve mostly figured the big hole in public education is lack of classes about government or what we called Civics back in high school, at least one semester of which was required for graduation. But I had another thought today and wondered if lack of math training early on might cripple ones reasoning abilities. Hey, I didn’t care for math much myself, especially when they went thru the proofs. But walking thru those steps probably use a part of the mind that is applied elsewhere. Anyway my mind was just wandering and trying to figure out how some people are so stupid. I’m sure there are many factors.
