Md. Rep. Andy Harris Reportedly Involved in Scuffle on House Floor

WASHINGTON (CBS/WBOC)– Maryland Congressman Andy Harris was reportedly involved in a scuffle on the House floor early Thursday.

It came during debate over the certification of election results.

While Democratic Congressman Conor Lamb of Pennsylvania spoke, Republican Andy Harris reportedly got into an argument with Democratic Congressman Colin Allred from Texas. Several reporters said the dispute may have been sparked by Lamb's description of the Wednesday rioting.

Multiple witnesses say it almost got physical, and that Harris and Allred had to be separated.

FOX News reports that the potential brawl between the lawmakers would have pitted Harris, a 63-year-old U.S. Navy veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm, against Allred, a 37-year-old former college football player at Baylor who later spent some time with the NFL’s Tennessee Titans.

On MSNBC tonight, Conor Lamb said that Harris basically stopped his forward progress when he ran into Allred. I'd give $100 to see that in real time.

4. Yeah, Andy Harris, a conservative can say a lot of nasty things.

Andy Harris is a doctor who thinks doctors should be able to bill patients for what their insurance doesn't cover. You know, when you get the bill later and no one told you the anesthetist wasn't in network. Or Medicare has a flat fee that's supposed to cover everything. He's allowed to lie about the votes cast in a neighboring state and throw out other peoples' votes but he objects to the "decorum" of not insulting an opponent on the House floor. His seat is usually safe because he lives in a conservative area of Maryland, but he must be afraid his constituents are Trumpier than he is to have been sucked into signing onto this action.

9. Conor Lamb called out the republicans as liars

Here’s a link of the speech and several democratic members getting up to stop disruption. Great speech. They tried to disrupt and got shut down. After all that happened they continued with their lies. They should be expelled.

Thank you for sharing that speech. It clearly shows things as they are, as they have been a long time, and will be until the grifter gang cleans up its act, and that doesn't look likely, does it?
