Every antisemitic thing Marjorie Taylor Greene has said and done (so far)
Editors Note: This story will be updated as necessary.
Marjorie Taylor Greenes Jewish space laser post shot her into the Jewish press; there was just too much there, comedic and serious, to give it up. While the statement was made before her election, she has refused to apologize for her comments, according to CNN.
Antisemitism is not alone among Greenes problematic beliefs as is often the case, it comes along with myriad other conspiracy theories. She has also used anti-Black and anti-Muslim rhetoric, promoted death threats against prominent Democrats and supported the false claim that President Donald Trump won the 2020 election. But to make this list manageable, weve limited it to her antisemitic statements.
QAnon
When Greene was elected, many outlets noted her previous support for QAnon, which she had mentioned in videos and written about in a blog post.
QAnon, a set of conspiracy theories based off on the cryptic posts of an author who goes by Q, has gained traction among the far right. The beliefs it promotes include a cultlike support of Trump and a theory about a satanic cabal of pedophiles who secretly rule the world.

(90,787 posts)a set of things she/they believes/believe.
It's the basis for how they think the world should work on a socio-political/policy based level. An ideology.
Moving it from some random person shouting something ludicrous while trolling a corner to the doors of government - federal, state, and local.
They want what they believe taught in schools. They want government to base policy on their beliefs. They want the people they target in their rantings to be the people government targets by law and policy. They want what they believe to be the basis for society.
That goes beyond a standard "I believe this" statement. It goes to actions. To planning. To a goal that is meant to oppress, even kill off, those labeled undesirables.
And for government to ever pretend otherwise is dangerous.
Even a portion of government pretending otherwise is dangerous - because all it takes is a loud, violent segment of government to change the whole of government.
We all too often hear about "politicizing" or "criminalizing" so-called "policy differences".
There are no government policy differences that aren't political. None.
Because there are no government policies that aren't political.
Crimes aren't policy differences. They're crimes.
Policies can be criminal. When they are, they can't be simply passed off as "policy differences",
Just as certain so-called opinions can't be simply passed off as a freedom of expression - especially in the context of governing.
People like MTG aren't merely expressing an opinion, they are explaining their ideology.
They are explaining their goals. Their plans. Their desired endgame.
And when they name their intended targets - people need to listen.
Our government - federal, state, local - does not need anti-democratic ideology in its ranks. The enemy to democracy has no place inside our government.
None.
