There are a growing number of ways to store your vaccination record on your smartphone, though unfortunately no be-all-end-all app or system. Were here to make sense of how different options approach your privacy, ensure security and try to spot counterfeits.
Just know this technology is still evolving, and places are making up their own rules about what theyll accept as proof as they go along. So you still might want to carry that physical card with you when youre headed somewhere super important.

So we have 2 versions of the pix, one with 1 shot and 1 with 2 shots. And of course, we keep the originals in our wallets with our drivers license, insurance cards, etc. Not useful yet, but expect it will be some day.

The bonus is having the photo on my phone. I do the same with other important things, like proof of car insurance, and also medical insurance cards.

Just saying NAME is fully vaccinated.
Easily forgible, BTW. I'm carrying my card too.

It would be so much more technologically certain if they had just injected microchips with the vaccine.
