'We Know Where You Live,' We're Coming To Your House,' Angry Parents To School Board, Mask Mandate

Stories of anti-mask violence at school board meetings are taking over the internet. Every day it seems that another school district is encountering violence at the hands of anti-maskers who would rather resort to violence than simply put on a mask to stop the spread of COVID-19. Parents of children across the country are not only threatening school and health officials in favor of masks in schools, but physically assaulting them under the guise of their parental rights being violated.

In at least two states, Nevada and Pennsylvania, meetings have progressed from verbal arguments to physical violence as a result requiring police presence. But that’s not all: Despite arrests and criminal charges being thrown at some protesters, anti-maskers are not backing away from their violence. In a recent incident, parents and attendees of an Iowa school board meeting erupted in violence when the board passed a requirement to wear masks.

At least 40 people spoke about the mask mandate prior to Tuesday’s vote at Ankeny Community School District’s meeting to discuss a potential mask mandate. Following a 5-2 vote by the Ankeny School Board, it was confirmed that a mask mandate would start in the school district Thursday, KCCI reported. Public comments lasted about two hours, with multiple individuals interpreting others as they spoke. But that’s not all: After the mask mandate was passed, many not only refused to comply with the mandate but threatened school board members.

Attendees shouted threats including: “We know where you live! We’re going to stalk you! We’re coming to your house!”

2. The attention that they thrive on and the fear

they hope to elicit has to be countered I agree, LE should be involved before the viciousness heightens. It's a growing sickness in this country as the MI County Health Director almost run off the road stated.

3. These thugs would have used any excuse to threaten those who volunteer their hours to work w/

their local school districts...and from what I heard, a lot of these thugs don't even have kids in the particular school districts where the violence is happening at, that is, like the violence seen when the BLM protests were happening, thugs aligned w/ trump values were going in secret, and breaking windows of businesses etc., and blaming it all on BLM protesters when the reverse was actually true instead. BLM started keeping an eye on these rogue protesters, and actually even caught/pointed law enforcement to these thugs.

This same thing apparently is happening in these school meetings too. People w/ no kids in the affected school districts, sitting in, and mouthing off when in effect, they really deserve no voice in these proceedings, only the kids, teachers, parents and school administrators should have a voice/say/etc.

average dad, I remember the blame placed on BLM for broken windows, etc. It's a real mess and growing.

wiser about going online, finding out more stuff about these thugs, and exposing them for what they truly are.

6. Let's hope so, more awareness and soon before

threats and actions harm people like like the recent PA county health director who supported masking in school for young kids, was almost run off the road by a madwoman and is leaving his job. They threatened his children as well.

8. You're absolutely right, and I wish the authorities would crack down on these threats to ...

literally innocents in this whole mess, who simply are doing their civic duty ... that's my big question, where are the authorities in this whole mess, why aren't these people in jail and/or facing charges, etc.? I am terribly dismayed that the authorities, and others aren't stepping up to the plate, defending these innocents, e.g., the madwoman should have been arrested immediately, her car should have been seized immediately, and more...

Maybe, just maybe sanity will be restored one day, when far more people start speaking out against these thugs, and these thugs start facing serious consequences, otherwise it'll keep going on and on...

7. Not a big group obviously

Most of the chairs are empty, the photo shows a small group milling around. Board members should 1) call the police and let them deal with the threats, and 2) ignore the minority and do what the vast majority of parents want--kids wearing masks.
