Missouri Supreme Court suspends McCloskeys' law licenses indefinitely

Mark and Patricia McCloskey, two St. Louis lawyers who made national headlines after waving guns at racial injustice protesters marching in front of their home in 2020, had their law licenses suspended indefinitely by the Missouri Supreme Court Tuesday. The suspensions were stayed and the two were placed on probation for 1 year.

The McCloskeys, who waved guns at protesters marching past their home on June 28, 2020, after the police-involved murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis, had their licenses suspended because they pleaded guilty to a class A misdemeanor of harassment in the second degree and a class C misdemeanor of assault in the fourth degree, which the court ruled offenses involving moral turpitude.

The McCloskeys' suspensions were stayed, however, and the two were put on probation. If they follow the conditions of their probation, they can still practice law. The conditions include a report to the court each quarter reporting any arrests or convictions, any civil lawsuits filed against them, a description of any disputes with clients, a statement on whether they have complied with the rules of professional conduct, or anything that would raise a question as to their fitness to practice law. They must also provide 100 hours of free legal services.

sidewalks, doing their thing. STLMO had all kinds of protests going on everywhere just about, and they chose to be idiots and coming charging out, w/ their guns ready to be used. Ignorant ass****s, I wish they would move but I don't want to wish them onto somebody else.
