'Pretty gross but also very stupid': Madison Cawthorn blasted for bill blocking aid to Ukraine over Mexico border
David Badash, The New Civil Rights Movement
March 02, 2022

Republican Congressmen Madison Cawthorn (NC) and Matt Rosendale (MT) are being blasted for bills they introduced as it became clear Russian President Vladimir Putin was intent on waging war against Ukraine. The bills, as GovTrack explains, "ban aid to Ukraine until Mexico border is secured."

Cawthorn's extremism has grown in the 14 months he's been a U.S. Congressman, but he may be best known for his trip to Hitler's vacation home, the Eagle’s Nest in Bavaria, when he was still a GOP candidate. On Instagram Cawthorn "referred to Hitler as 'the Fuhrer,'" which the Times of Israel says is a term of reverence, "and said the spot was on his 'bucket list.'"

According to GovTrack Cawthorn's bill "mandates that the number of Armed Force members deployed" to Ukraine "must be less than the number deployed to the Mexican border."

Tuesday evening Cawthorn, who has become one of the faces representing House Republicans (Rosendale is fairly unknown), was the target of outrage after his bill was revealed.

This is a man, who is supposedly educated. When did he fall in live with Hitler? AS a young boy, did a parent tell him that he was useless and would never amount to anything? Then he fell in love with Hitler, the strong man? Guess he didn't read to the end of the story, where Hitler blows his brains out, and Berlin is reduced to rubble.

If you introduce a bill, it should require a withholding of pay of a week for each bill introduced.

If the bill becomes law, you get your money back, with intetest.

If the bill dies, you lose your money.

That way fewer stupid bills will be around.

The wingnuts were all convinced that Obama was something-something in abandoned Walmarts something?

They were yelling, "Posse comitatus!" -- that the US military couldn't be used in combat inside the US borders. (Of course, the military was just doing training exercises, and not in Walmarts.)

But now Cawthorn wants to send Army troops there?
Like the Texas National Guard camped out there miserably now isn't enough, or the border police either.

But it's all just a stunt for him, like punching a tree.

Needs 4 wheel drive on that chair so he can pick NC apples and harvest tobacco. Two major money makers for NC that employ tens of thousands of immigrates willing to do that work for less than min wage. White boys will not do that labor, but especially as cheaply as the currrnt work force. Over the last two years I have replaced medal roofs, wood siding and just repainted the entire exterior. Went through Angie’s list to find businesses. Every single one was white man owned with the entire crews Latino, Most spoke very little English. Every single one worked their asses off, and did top quality work and very quickly. Fuck Cowthorn, Bimbobert, Green and ALL the white assholes that would never do a days work, and expect any white boys would attempt this labor, and show up to work on time.
Local news portrays Matty Cowthorn as a working man’s warrior. Sinclair darling. He is just damn stupid. Period. Sucking off the SSDI cash (never paid a dime into it) while shouting his 10 point plan that will end SS to make old people get to work. He stole his seat from a life long Military officer, who served on the battlefield.
NC gerrymandering will reinstall his wimp ass. If only the top of that dead tree broke lose and cracked his thin empty skull.
