Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has survived a third assassination attempt by a Kremlin-funded elite hit squad, Ukrainian officials said, The Daily Beast reports.

The Russia-backed Wagner group mercenaries —run by Yevgeny Prigozhin A.K.A. “Putin’s chef”— and Chechen Republic leader Ramzan Akhmadovich Kadyrov’s kill teams have reportedly tried to assassinate the Ukrainian president, who is running the resistance from various bunkers deep below the capital Kyiv, according to The Washington Post.

The Daily Beast highlighted a report by Times of London claiming that the Wagner mercenaries reportedly have a kill list of 24 names, including Zelensky, but “were waylaid by the stalled military convoy outside of Kyiv that made it difficult for Russian special forces to secure an escape route.”

If at the end of the day, Ukrainians win without overwhelming military intervention from outside, won't that be be a far greater victory with a much more important impact on the future of the region? I'm not discounting them yet, not be a long shot. Invaders always are at a disadvantage, everyone opposes them being there.

This infuriates me. The Ukrainian people elected a decent man with no experience to lead them. He's doing just that. All they wanted was to be a decent country for decent people and to work to be a destination country. Meaning, that they wanted to have a nice place where people might want to move to and live their lives. But, no. Putin is just today's version of the psychopathic shitbag that believes it's his destiny to rule the world. Fuck him! He needs to die tonight!

Stealing yachts and bank accounts and preventing Russians from receiving their latest toys via Amazon and FedEx isn't going to stop him from murdering thousands of people because of his latest whim. He probably has enough money and sustenance squirreled away to last years. He could give a fuck about sanctions at this point.

With all the trillions of dollars we've spent on the CIA, NSA and whatever other agencies we have that supposedly exist to prevent this sort of shitstorm, they don't have any plants in Russia that can save the Ukraine? The rest of the world? This is unacceptable.

Why can't NATO make a new rule. Any country that espouses democratic policies and wishes to join and adhere to NATO principles shall be defended. There! That fucking simple!

The Ukrainian people made a great choice in electing Volodymyr Zelenskyy. A good man that only wanted the best and was working to achieve it. He didn't acquiesce to TFG when he wanted non-existent dirt on Hunter Biden. It's time for the world to step up and aid President Zelenskyy and all Ukrainians in this endeavor.

Fuck Putin's nuclear capabilities. If we (meaning all decent and civilized people) don't call his bluff and stand for Ukraine then we don't deserve to live on this planet. That might upset some of you but, enough is enough. Allowing Putin to destroy a sovereign nation with impunity is abhorrent.
