Trump belongs to Putin, this proves it
https://www.cnn.com/2022/03/28/politics/trump-putin-ukraine-russia-smart/index.htmlAre you kidding me?
Dementia? Stupidity? Or just the fact that he owes Putin big and he thinks he will be able to pay him back after Vlad helps him win the 2024 election?
The fact that we put up with this is unbelievable.

(7,410 posts)The GOP and, of course, Trump, are not horrified by the War Crimes in UKR. They are not saddened by the deaths of innocent civilians, of the leveling of prosperous cities. They are somewhat encouraged by the advance of fascism by Putin. White phosphorus raining down on civilians? So what! Fire bombs landing in residential areas? It's cold in UKR! Mass graves! Hmm. Pass me a beer.
The GOP is fine with all of it. Any friend of Trump's is a friend of theirs. And any friend of Putin's can come along to the party.
There's still a lot of power in the GOP and that power is decidedly pro-fascism and pro-Putin. The GOPers who were "forced" to turn against Russia and Putin are doing so for political reasons, not moral ones. All it means is that they have to delay their push for autocracy in the US until this UKR thing blows over. But not to worry, there are plenty of GOPer Congresspeople who will hold the torch up high as a guiding light when it's time to once again turn up the volume and drive the Constitution into the ditch.
