you get a re-do if there's been a mistake in the judgment calculation. But in a different decision the court held that the prisoner has to die because there are no do-overs for mistakes in criminal judgments.

Fourth opinion of the day: In another case on bond hearings for non-citizens in immigration detention, the Supreme Court rules that the district court did not have jurisdiction to enter a class-wide injunction.

so succinctly. I was trying to understand that and couldn't wrap my head around it. Probably because it seemed so immoral to me.
