LTE: Abortion foes need to step up and provide help to infants

First off, let me state that I am neither for or against abortion. I believe it is purely between the woman, her God, her doctor and the father of the child.

But I also firmly believe that all of you who are screaming against it in your moral outrage that you should all be lining up to support every unwanted child in every conceivable way — physically, financially, morally — in place of every mother who is unable or unwilling to.

There are far too many of these discarded babies that, if allowed to be born, will become a monumental drain on society in so many ways: public assistance, the judicial system, schools and on and on.

You have to know that just because abortion on demand has been made illegal in most states, it will do little, if anything, to reduce the number of unwanted babies. So step up to the plate and support those unwanted babies or stop complaining.
