SCOTUS ruling re: praying coach apparently based on a "deceitful narrative"
If this story is accurate, it makes the SCOTUS ruling even more egregious.
A 9th Circuit Court of Appeals judge called out the whole case as built on a "deceitful narrative." "The facts in the record utterly belie (Kennedy's) contention that the prayer was personal and private."

(576 posts)Thanks, I missed all of that, I guess. The paper also included a photo of the entire team in the middle of the field during the prayer. Ugh.

(2,655 posts)This case was under the "Free Exercise Clause." Future cases will result in the erosion of the separation of church and state with regard to the "Establishment Clause."
