Laura Ingraham says Americans are 'exhausted' might think it's 'time to turn the page' on Trump

Fox News host Laura Ingraham says Americans are 'exhausted' from political conflict and might think it's 'time to turn the page' on Trump

Fox News host Laura Ingraham said on Monday that American voters are "exhausted" from political conflict and might believe it's "time to turn the page" on former President Donald Trump if he runs for the White House in 2024.

While Ingraham still spoke in favor of Trump's policies and defended his decisions, the longtime vocal supporter of the former president signaled some doubt about whether Republican voters would choose Trump in favor of another strong GOP candidate.

"People conflate Trump with people's overall sense of happiness in the country. Donald Trump's been a friend of mine for 25 years, and I'm always very open about this on my show," Ingraham said on a podcast hosted by Lisa Boothe, a Fox News contributor.

"But, you know, we'll see whether that's what the country wants," Ingraham continued. "The country, I think, is so exhausted — they're exhausted by the battle, the constant battle — that they may believe that, well, maybe it's time to turn the page if we can get someone who has all of Trump's policies, who's not Trump."

Does this man the Fox News has turned the corner.

Volodomor rupert has given his marching orders. It isn’t that he doesn’t like dotard, it’s because the primaries are right around the corner and he wants all the gqp candidates to feel warm and fuzzy about fux and buy their air time there. Why cater to one, when you can have them all! Follow the money!

Republicans are in for an outright war if that happens. Trump isn't going to back DeSantis, especially if he runs himself. All it takes is to tell his 35% support to not vote for DeSantis or vote for a chosen third party candidate, and the Republicans are cooked in 2024.

I don't care if Trump tears the republican party to shreds as long as he doesn't take the country along with him.

Hannity and the rest would be following suit. They're not. Unless there's a major shift from all of Fox's "entertainers" to dump Trump, they're acting independently.

Then there's the Atlanta DA, the NY AG...ya need a program just to keep track of all trump's crimes.

I have very little sympathy or tolerance for people who allowed themselves to be taken in by that Pathological Liar.

It's certainly "shame on him." But I've also gotta go with "shame on THEM, TOO!" The truth is out there. All his claims and statements have been debunked. And despite all that hard evidence, some of those souls just WON'T be saved.

I guess they're like the proverbial horses that you lead to water, but can't make them drink.

... interesting. The premise is a total lie, of course, and she knows it's a lie. She makes her millions on extreme "political conflict." The Ronald will be another Donald... that's where he's made his bed. And, honestly, he can't pull a Youngkin and put on sheep's' clothing. The Donald and the Ronald don't wear sheep's clothing. It doesn't fit. So, Ingraham is making up a false premise, and one that goes against her significant wealth source. But, bombastic BS is her game!

Every time he engages in a new scandal, she has to get back on the horse and spend all day blaming Democrats. Its tough.

And uh...
"Donald Trump's been a friend of mine for 25 years, and I'm always very open about this on my show"

I know its pretty obvious she is shilling for him, but I for one, have never seen a clip of her prefacing any of her opinion pieces with "BTW I am a personal friend of Donald Trump"

And of course that's all in her mind. Its not reciprocal. He may like how she's debasing herself for him every day, but if she thinks Donald is a 10/10, he thinks of her as a 3/10. In looks of course, which is how he judges all women.
