Are you a chump? Are you the kind of person who’s easily tricked, foolish or just plain stupid? Are you a sucker, an easy mark, or a grifter’s dream-come-true?

Of course you’re not!

But it seems to me there’s an awful lot of chumps around lately; donating millions, wearing red hats, going to rallies, and storming the Capitol to overturn an election. But like when your fly is open (and you’re clueless) or you have a bright green tag of spinach caught between your teeth (and you have no idea), unless someone tells you you’re a chump, you’ll never know.

Because no one self-identifies as a chump and people blunder about in blissful ignorance of what they really seem to be.

I agree it’s the party of Trump, not the Republican party. I don’t think I’m in danger of being a chump; I think that’s just acknowledging reality.

I did the same thing, and figured it was a trick question till I got to the scoring part. Just for fun, I wrote to Burke, expressed appreciation for the quiz, and voiced my objection to being labeled a trending chump.

3. I think I somehow I have a gift to sense a con man.

A few years ago the company I worked for was going to form a partnership with a Brazilan company. These two venture capitalist crooks from Chicago were able to convince our union leaders to oppose the deal and support them. I went to a presentation these guys made and thought they were two bit con men.
Well they ended up taking over and sold off all our profitable operations and filed chapter 11. The plant shut down we all lost our jobs and they walked away with a multi million dollar golden parachute. I think the plant would be operating today if we went with the Brazilian company. I saw the same thing with Trump.
