Lindsey Graham 'should be expelled from the Senate' after avoiding grand jury subpoena
Staunch Donald Trump ally Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) ominously warned Sunday of riots in the streets if the former president is hit with charges for taking classified documents to his Mar-a-Lago home when he moved out of the White House.
If theres a prosecution of Donald Trump for mishandling classified information, after the [Hillary] Clinton debacle
therell be riots in the streets, Graham said on Fox News Sunday Night in America, hosted by former South Carolina congressman Trey Gowdy (R).
Graham is currently battling a subpoena to appear before the grand jury in that probe. The probe, launched by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, has been expanded to look into the alleged involvement of a Trump ally in the suspected breach of voting equipment in the state.
The Fulton County District Attorneys office slammed GOP Sen. Lindsey Grahams extreme position to have his subpoena quashed, saying he should be required to testify before the special purpose grand jury investigating former President Donald Trumps efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in Georgia, according to a new court filing.

(2,848 posts)not with the OP, but with MSN, I guess... cause I actually went over to them to read the whole article. No where did I find the phrase "should be expelled from the Senate". Granted, it's been a really hard day for me, and my eyes are really tired. Knowing that, I scanned the whole article more than once and I STILL didn't see it. I really wanted to see whether that phrase came from Fani in GA, or from one of our Democrats here in D.C. Instead, the whole article seemed to be more about his "riot in the streets" comment. Did anyone else pick up something I missed?
I detest Graham, and I think he should have been censured a long time ago, at the very least. But I truly detest misleading headlines! Again, not YOUR fault, Yo Mama!

(2,845 posts)A rawstory video with similar headline was in the article. I hate watching videos for news mostly.

(2,848 posts)at Raw Story, but I did watch any video. Did the video go into who came out with the statement about kicking him out? If it was in the video, a notice about "see video for info about" would have nice. (gryn)
