Why Trump must be prosecuted

It is absolutely critical that Trump is prosecuted to the 'fullest extent of the law'. Every Republican president has behaved badly if not worse than his predecessor, from Nixon onward.
• Nixon - Watergate
• Ford - pardoned Nixon, set the stage for 'presidents being above the law'
• Reagan - treason: paid Khomeini to hold US hostages until after 1980 election, and don't forget Iran-Contra
• George H W Bush - who knows? CIA head while US involved in countless illegal foreign projects, and involved in Iran-Contra affair
• George W Bush - lied us into war, incompetently looked the other way regarding 9/11
• Donald Trump - treason - and has done untold, possibly catastrophic damage to US security.

If Trump is not held accountable, the next Republican president will end US democracy.
