Pete Hoekstra: Intelligence leak watchdog or serial secret sharer?

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Pete Hoekstra will keep in play a web ad slamming Sen. Debbie Stabenow and President Barack Obama over national security leaks to the media despite criticism that the Holland Republican was a repeat offender during his time on the House Intelligence Committee.

Hoekstra, who is seeking the GOP nomination to challenge Stabenow, in the last week released an Internet commercial on the “irreparable harm” leaks can create and how the administration and Stabenow have refused to appoint a special investigator.

It follows a statewide radio spot that was even more judgmental, saying “anybody who leaks highly classified information is either an amateur who has no idea how much damage they’ve done, or they’re traitors to our country,” Hoekstra said in the ad.

But the commercials have drawn fire from Democrats who point out that Hoekstra released classified information multiple times while the chairman of the Intelligence Committee.

1. Hoekstra is a disgrace and an embarrassment to the state of Michigan. And with the current crop of

losers we have running the state into the ground, that's saying something. Remember when he and Rick Santorum held that breathless, lame ass press conference announcing that WMDs HAD BEEN FOUND IN IRAQ?! REALLY!

What a despicable dooshnozzle. I can't wait to see Debbie Stabenow wipe up the floor with him in November. Ugh.

2. Some folks were calling him "Leaky Pete" when he chaired the House Intelligence Committee.

And that name really fits!
