Citizen questions 'reasonably intelligent Republicans' who support Donald Trump

This letter is directed to the reasonably intelligent Republicans who voted for Ronald Reagan and the first President Bush.

How can you accept or even accommodate Donald Trump who has proven to be a serial liar and who embodies every kind of self-serving and illicit behavior practiced by the most corrupt leaders in our nation’s history. His selfishness is boundless and he appeals to the lowest common denominator of our political spectrum.

How can you stomach his hypocritical followers and acolytes who will do anything − including voter suppression and voter intimidation − to get re-elected?

How can you tolerate his vicious and violent thugs like the Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers, the QAnon members and the white supremacists who march to the beat of his drum?

who had 'T***P' signs in their yards - life-long Repugs for sure. I just DO NOT understand their willingness to sell their souls and country to stay loyal to their 'party.' Of course, we've got a huge Congress filled with Repugs that are doing the same thing.

Serious reasons to be concerned about where our country is headed......

Shortsighted because environmental destruction and concentration of wealth in fewer hands are both unsustainable, ultimately sinking all boats.

The reasonableness of their "intelligence" doesn't extend very far.

and intelligence has nothing to do with it. Common sense is learned behavior, and intelligence is worthless if the intellect lacks education.
