Adidas ends partnership with Kanye West over antisemitic remarks

https://www.politico.com/news/2022/10/25/adidas-ye-partnership-antisemitic-remarks-00063295

Adidas has ended its partnership with the rapper formerly known as Kanye West over his offensive and antisemitic remarks, the latest company to cut ties with Ye and a decision that the German sportwear company said would hit its bottom line.

“Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech,” the company said in a statement Tuesday. “Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”

Ye dropped by talent agency, documentary on him scrapped

I'm still not going to look at their shoes and clothing which I'm shopping for now. Maybe next time I need running or x-trainers I'll entertain their products but they lost me this go round.

Adidas and Kenya signed a $1B deal earlier. Dropping Kanye wasn't a simple move. They understandably needed time for their lawyers to figure out a way to not reward Kanye financially for his comments. Adidas acknowledged that dropping Kanye will cost them atleast $246M. Either way, Kanye wins - $1B for work, or hundreds of millions to not work. The whole system is effed up!

Hence the total silence surrounding the issue....Silence is consent! So until they actually did something about it they were in agreement with kewee.

run for President as a Republican.

That is one career option that being a bigoted, ignorant loudmouth actually works in your favor.
