That Cardboard Box in Your Home Is Fueling Election Denial

Much of the cardboard and paper goods strewn about our homes — the mail-order boxes and grocery store bags — are sold by a single private company, with its name, Uline, stamped on the bottom. Few Americans know that a multibillion-dollar fortune made on those ubiquitous products is now fueling election deniers and other far-right candidates across the country.

Dick and Liz Uihlein of Illinois are the largest contributors to Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano, who attended the Jan. 6 rally and was linked to a prominent antisemite, and have given to Jim Marchant, the Nevada Secretary of State nominee who says he opposed the certification of Joe Biden’s election victory in 2020. They are major funders to groups spreading election falsehoods, including Restoration of America, which, according to an internal document obtained by ProPublica, aims to “get on God’s side of the issues and stay there” and “punish leftists.”

Flush with profits from their shipping supply company, the Uihleins have emerged as the No. 1 federal campaign donors for Republicans ahead of the November elections, and the No. 2 donors overall behind liberal financier George Soros. The couple has spent at least $121 million on state and federal politics in the last two years alone, fighting taxes, unions, abortion rights and marijuana legalization.

If you make a ton of money off a country and its people, then you've got to force your stone age, crazy religion, and fascism on them. Forced birth, lies and propaganda for them, for you luxury and never ending wealth for doing nothing. So it seems we have a new feudalism.

They have had everything handed to them. (Beer wealth) and inherited a ton of money, used a little of it to start a company, and surprise, surprise, surprise they decide to promote fascism and forced Christianity. The filthy rich are a bunch of spoiled brats.

They are the #1 Republican donor. They are the #2 donor overall (all parties together), because George Soros is the #1 donor overall. That's all it said about him. He is in no way connected with them.

The above discussion is ranking. They do not donate to Democrats. Ever.

How the hell do people still believe in crap that goes against science, actual history and everything we have learned about the Universe? They don't fall for that nonsense in most other 1st world countries. WTF?

Some brave humans need to call them out every time they start with their gawd shit. Yet the MSM is paranoid about running Atheist commercials like "One God Further". Used to see Ray gun's kid who wasn't afraid of going to hell on pretty often but not lately. For some reason.

How do you deprogram an entire country held hostage by a death cult? For me it's one victim and one day at a time and like addicts, they are deep in denial and don't want to hear it at first. You have to use the Socratic Method asking the right questions. Fascinating videos out the on YouTube demonstrating it's use,

Oh, I know! Let's ALL go to the polls, and forget about high gas prices, look at the good job Biden has actually done, and VOTE a straight Democratic ticket.

Then, let's pressure our Democratic super majorities to REVISE THE TAX CODE and impose confiscatory wealth taxes on the billionaire parasites. NO ONE in this country, and I mean no one, should EVER be a billionaire. Every billionaire is a FAILURE in tax policy.

In addition, we need to raise corporate taxes so they pay more than 6.8% of the federal government's tax revenue while individuals like us pay around 86%. Now, I've seen other figures, and I am including all payroll taxes there. I suppose I can look it over again, but because of supply-side (remember when H.W. looked at the snake Reagan during that debate and accused him of VOODOO ECONOMICS?) 'cut taxes for rich people and corporations, and they will create so many new jobs payroll taxes will make up for the corporate shortfall.'

That's right, people. Supply-side tax cuts are DESIGNED to systematically transfer wealth from the people to billionaires and corporations, and put most of the tax burden of running the federal government ON US. You all know this, right? That is how it IS NOW here in Murika, and what a capitalist utopia we all have. Aren't we proud!

I just want them to pay their fair share. The top bracket should be at least 75%, capital gains tax should be much higher, and there should be a 2% wealth tax.

Years ago, before I knew about their political positions, I bought some things direct from them for my business, which got me on their business mailing list. That means I get their big catalog (think phone book).

Every time it arrives I think for a moment about the money they wasted having it printed & sent to me, & then toss it in the recycling bin. It's a small thing I can do to take a little bit of money out of their pockets.
