(31,828 posts)The preview two weeks ago - when we saw The Words. It never crossed my mind to see it. Aside from content - not a fan of the two lead actors. The extended preview showed a boring movie.

(26,044 posts)And it doesn't come close to Oggieloves in The Big Balloon Adventure from a few weeks ago -- that one, which opened in only around 2,000 theaters, averaged only $206 per theater; by which standard, WBD's $1,035 seems like Titanic by comparison.

Skinny guy with cigar: Let's make a movie! The unwashed ignorant masses believe anything you say in a movie.
(Months later)
Frightened lackey: Well, sirs, the movie flopped and our message is not getting out.
Fat guy with cigar: hmmmmm......
Skinny guy with cigar (snaps fingers): A BOY BAND! WE'LL MAKE A BOY BAND! A boy band could spread our message to the masses!
Fat guy with cigar (rubbing hands together evilly): Yes, yes. And we'll call it "Union Frackers!" (Bites into large mound of caviar on cracker made of baby seal skin.)
