Scott Walker Still Has a Koch Habit

from The Progressive:

Scott Walker Still Has a Koch Habit
By Elizabeth DiNovella, December 3, 2012

Now that the shellacking of Mitt Romney is over, conservatives are ready to move on to the next Presidential election in 2016. GOP hopefuls have been wasting no time in meeting with the billionaires who dumped scads of money into this year’s race.

Politico reports that a week after Election Day, three Republican governors who want to be Prez—Bobby Jindal, John Kasich, and Bob McDonnell—paid individual visits to super PAC sugar daddy Sheldon Adelson in Las Vegas, hoping to be the casino mogul’s next Newt Gingrich.

Vegas was hosting the Republican Governors Association at the time, so it was easy to stop by and say hello.

The more ambitious GOP guvs arrived in Vegas before the Republican Governors Association conference started in order to attend to the association’s high-roller Executive Roundtable, a program for the GOP donors with deep pockets and deep connections. .................(more)

wasn't Wanker (months ago) "close to" being indicted for some sort of chicanery?

I see he's still in office...

...the DA is waiting to resolve the first round of prosecutions before going on to the next phase. As it stands now, they have to do the sentencing for Kevin Kavanaugh, Darlene Wink and Rindfleisch. They also have to do the trials for Russell and Brian Pierick.

That was from a few weeks ago. They haven't gotten to the 'next phase,' yet but it's getting closer and closer.

with all due respect- I don't see it. I don't see anything profound enough to cause Walker to be removed from office. If there was anything, he'd know it and we'd know it by now.

It's too soon to say there's nothing there. Walker's been a seriously sleazy operator ever since his days at Marquette, when he ran for office and had his candidacy aborted (halted, suspended, stopped in its tracks) by the University, for violating campaigning rules. He never graduated from the school, never got his degree, and has been taking short cuts ever since. Prosecutions of high office holders can take a while. Look back to Watergate for another example of a case that took a long time to fully heat up, with the smaller fish getting fried first.
