The Fox News Effect: Republicans Still Think ACORN is Alive and Stealing Elections (Kevin Drum)

http://www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2012/12/fox-news-effect-republicans-still-think-acorn-alive-and-stealing-elections

Here is PPP on their finding that 49 percent of Republicans think ACORN stole the election for Obama, a drop from the 52 percent who thought ACORN stole the election in 2008:

"This is a modest decline, but perhaps smaller than might have been expected given that ACORN doesn't exist anymore."

In other news, they found that 39 percent of Americans claim to have an opinion about the Simpson-Bowles deficit plan,

I have an opinion about the Simpson-Bowles Deficit Plan and that opinion is there IS NO Simpson-Bowles Deficit Plan! There are just conflicting recommendations put forth by the committee chairs, separately, after thye committee was unable to arrive at a plan.

Oh, wait ... That's not an opinion; that's a fact! (I get so confused with all this fact/opinion, opinion/fact thingy.)

This is our moment to reform elections. We can move the conversation from voter fraud to election fraud and those idiot repugs won't even know it happened. Then we can propose sweeping changes so those damn democrats (sarcasm) can't steal it again. Before you know it, we have safe, secure, and verifiable elections. Why are republicans so good at defining the message? Channel me some Bernays.
