Everybody in DC Except Rand Paul Knew About ‘Verizongate’

Everybody in DC Except Rand Paul Knew About ‘Verizongate’

It seems like everybody in Washington D.C. except Rand Paul knew about “VerizonGate”, which Congress says has been going on for over seven years.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) released an outraged statement in response to “new shocking revelation” of the “NSA extensive seizure and surveillance” of Americans’ Verizon phone records: “If the President and Congress would obey the Fourth Amendment we all swore to uphold, this new shocking revelation that the government is now spying on citizens’ phone data en masse would never have happened.”

Yes, it’s “shocking” to some, but not to anyone who actually works in DC, and certainly not to Congress, since Congress knew about it for the last seven years.

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) said that they have been kept informed under the law and that the surveillance is legal. Chambliss added that the court order lasts three months and was a regular renewal of the legal authority, which has been going on for seven years.

Speaker John Boehner pretended not to know anything about it in order to play the Darrell Issa Scandal Monger Game, but of course, he voted to reauthorize the Patriot Act several times, calling it “a critical tool” to protect the American people.

His whole persona, like his father Ron, is a total fake.

Both Rand and Ron are NOT against war, in fact, if they had their way the only reason they don't want drones is so
they can get the big artillery out there (if Rand were near the Presidency, Iran already would have been attacked like
most republicans actually want to happen (see: McCain, John and his song about Iran).

Ron and Rand Paul both hit upon a way to keep money coming in, and to appear to back two issues that kids like, and they
both hope to sleight of hand style, hope that the kids they put under their spell don't do their homework and see how
NOTHING they have ever done should be anything someone in the democratic party would support.

In fact, both Ron and Rand are against what is probably 80% of the democratic party.
(and that includes ALL minorities and women in power).

Rand takes things back to the 1850s.

(please note-for those that may not know, thespian is another word for actor, and is not a dirty or personal word)

The Paul's are part and parcel of getting a REPUBLICAN elected president in 2016, and if Rand were offered the
vice presidency in 2016 with Jeb Bush, (as they used to say on Laugh-In, "you bet your sweet bippy" Rand would take
it in a New York minute.

btw, Ron Paul voted FOR Afghanistan, didn't he?

and note too- I said what I did about his being a master actor because, he knows this has been going on for years way before
the current president was in office.
But it scores points with his supporters to make it appear ominous doesn't it???

btw, how in the world did he secure enough votes to become Senator of a state?
If one thinks he wasn't heavily supported by the Bush family/Koch Brothers/power brokers in the republican party would he have even come close to winning?

Apparently ignorance is what makes lawmakers oppose this program. Obama once opposed it too, but once he was in the loop and got the full access to information he was driving the train. All those of us who are still out of the loop can do is trust our engineer. Change course now and we are in for a massive train wreck.
