Good News From Texas

My daughter signed up for ACA today. She's enrolled earlier and had some problems getting on line so today she called the 800 number and a navigator helped her finish the enrollment. She got a plan with much lower deductibles than her present plan, for doctor visits, hospital and prescriptions. It is going to cost her $50 a month after the federal credits are applied. It is with the same company, Blue Cross, that she is currently using but has been paying $325 a month. And it was due to go up to $375 in January. The only thing she has left to do is to mail in a copy of 2012 tax return, she filed late for last year and guess her tax info is not yet on line for verification.
