and here we don't have Aaron Swarz AND the corps are backing this. Plus, everyone thinks we beat this back and it won't come back. But it has. And it looks bad.

As Noam Chomsky reminds us in "Power Systems," (yes, I'm referencing it alot lately ) every rich and developed country has carried out piracy. During its period of rapid growth, the US stole more efficient advanced British technology. Britain did the same with countries tha it was crushing: Ireland, the Low Countries, Belgium, India. It's what we accuse China of doing today, following in our footsteps!

Trade agreements imposed by the rich and powerful level heavy penalties against piracy. So-called intellectual property rights are built into the World Trade Organization, one of the most important examples being the protections given to the pharmaceutical industry that keep India from producing cheap drugs for the general population, undercutting the profits of international corporations. But all these corporations are state-sponsored by other "friendly" nations anyway.

Corporations want free markets? They can't handle free markets! CISPA is more state-sponsored capitalism. Actually, it's the non-capitalist bullshit of corporate welfare queens that want global market controls in the name of property rights -- waah-waah! -- when We The People have subsidized their R & D "property" development for decades! WE should be half owners of all their profits. We should fight CISPA!

FUCK CISPA PROMOTERS.

There. Got that off my chest.
