Still, all he's getting in return is bafflegab. I mean, how dare he ask such an impertinent question of august authority and expect a response?

I suppose giving the realistic answer "This is the make sure the world's obscenely wealthy get to hang onto all the money they've stolen over the past 30 years" would have provoked even more unpleasantness.

I might almost feel sorry for Klaus but he's such a duplicitous bastard whose only function is to spout canned speeches.
