This is just somebody on a soapbox making a political statement that's totally larded with rhetorical catchwords, and using a couple of props.

Heartfelt, sad, angry .... and, in my view, justified.

It's why I love the internet - real people can be heard, make contact, hopefully make for change from the ground up.

2. The V for Vengence anarchist mask loses me immediately.
Sun Mar 31, 2013, 04:45 AM
Mar 2013

V was a rightwing terrorist extremist who blew things up in a fictional (with no correlation to any sort of reality) comic book, then a movie.

Now, Hugo Weaving is one of the great character actors(perhaps a modern day Lon Chaney Sr.) but the movie is fiction.

Anytime I see that mask, it turns me off.

If the people behind the mask ran and won office, instead of using this blackmailing threatening(how is it any different than the messages that say OBL sent in before finally they were able to smoke him out), it would be one thing.

But no one gave these people any political position.

Run for office.

Besides, for all we know, the person behind that mask is Karl Rove or Roger Stone,or Rand Paul
or David Duke, the dirty tricksters of the republican party. After all, when you follow who they are speaking against,
and who getting rid of today's democratic party would help, it points directly to Karl Rove's
family. The Bush's.
So for all we know, the Bush family is reaping the benefits of these movie prop masks.

And yeah, the movie was cool. It was a movie. FICTION. Based on rightwing extremists
like Tim McCoward of Oklahoma City.

We the people of the United States didn't vote for this Mask. Nor want to be represented by such.

why dont the Koch bros run for office?
You dont like the scary mask. too bad for you.
You dont like the secrecy? As long as the oligarchs operate in secrecy then so shall
we be required to meet them on equal turf.
If it were not for this secret society, we would have no one to stand up to them.

6. Don't like the mask? Then put it in your task bar and just listen to the message...

Or go back to sleep. Your choice.

As far as "running for office", there are some who feel that that's no longer a viable alternative, as the entire system is irredeemably corrupt.

It's interesting how people always show up to engage in distraction and fear-mongering (Karl Rove, OBL, booga booga) in order to stifle messages that our overlords find inconvenient.

7. fear mongering is putting on a mask of a rightwing extremist from a Hollywood movie
Sun Mar 31, 2013, 10:28 AM
Mar 2013

(and its not like the mask was actually worn by the rightwing terrorist who the movie was based on, way back in some other galaxy a long time ago far far away.

A mask is like a curtain.
Nobody knows what is behind the mask. Or who.

Masks were worn by the people who hid their real identity back in 2000 in that phony dade country courtroom riot. Once those masks were revealed, voila, they were part of
team Karl Rove and Roger Stone.

I for one do not want to blindly back another mask without knowing who the individuals are.

I for one remember when masks were placed in protests back in the 1960s, and that person next to one in the poetry readings were not whom they proported to be.

Because with masks are secrecy.fear and distraction.

I love when people spew transparency, while wearing a mask. What is wrong with that picture?

Skull and bones being one that we know well...
When they reveal themselves and what they do then they can ask these folks to do the same...
Fuck that double standard thing.
There mask does not scare me...I listen to what the SAY, and I know that is true and I don't give a shit who said it...who said it doesn't change if from true to false.

17. Kubrick had a good movie about masks, and how masks hide things on purpose
Mon Apr 1, 2013, 03:40 AM

(like who it is behind the mask.)(so did the wizard of oz show that a mask can be the curtain.

Running for office is how the US works. Not some grand high exaulted mask wearer or wizard of oz being financed by who knows who.

After all, like those in masks now, the people in Miami Dade county were originally thought of as just whistleblowers or those attempting to be average citizens, who later were found to be professional agitators looking to stop the recount, as they were Bush people.
They seemed like good people at the time to so many, that the recount was instantly stopped and Bush won. (same could be said about the mask that was Ralph Nader, throwing the election to the Bush's in 2000.)

Sorry, masks like Ralph Nader and the Miami Dade County Brooks brothers riots made me no
longer have my eyes wide shut.

Sometimes things now are so obvious, that it's like Superman with X-Ray Vision.
Ever wonder why Superman never needed a mask?
Because he was not hiding anything, he was what he was.
whereas Clark Kent needed a mask.
All other Superheroes had masks.
Superman was the only one who didn't.

Think about it.

By anonymous, The mask, the presentation, the "almost revolution" they preach But their are Mornings when I feel the "get out and vote folks" are offering no definitive response to the oligarchy. and the entertainment division of the military industrial complex as each day they grow stronger and stronger. they pit one of us against another as we run to and fro from political fire to political fire while they make endless war against anyone who will stand in the way of making money for themselves at everyone's expense. it's as though Illiaus Seganus has come back from the dead to rule over us. if something is not done to collectively respond to the ruling powers, (the moneyed elite) we will wake up one fine morning and find the doors closed, and the bolts thrown, before we realize that the prison state has arrived. but with a very well funded covert operations like this, Confessions of sn economic hit-man (

) and co-intel pro (
) ,I see dark days ahead indeed. Days when we all look back at Folks Like Anonymous as the visionaries they truly are.

The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, pull back the curtains, move the tables and chairs out of the way, and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.-- Frank Zappa
