Thom Hartmann: MUST SEE! 1st County in U.S. Bans Oil & Gas Extraction

Thomas Linzey, Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund (CELDF) joins Thom Hartmann. A county in New Mexico has become the first county in the country to outlaw gas and oil extraction. Why did the county choose to fight back against Big Oil - are more communities across the country planning to do the same thing?

One of the best things I've heard in a long time. I also like Thomas Linzeys' attitude..no nonsense and recognizing the long battle in front of our communities...much like the civil rights movement, as he said. I really think this could work. No one wants their lives polluted by these corporations. No one.
