by Congress, by private lawyers, by state AGs, and by Holder's office and the FBI long ago.

I assume that before the government settled claims with various defendants, it did discovery. Those documents will be available, and I assume the documents that the state AGs and Congress subpoenaed or obtained will also be available.

Private lawyers may be subject to subpoenas for their documents, and there will be a lot of documents in existing court files.

They don't need a lot of FBI agents to assemble this stuff. They need lawyers and paralegals to sort through it. That's what will cost a lot of money on this one.

This could finally mean full employment for lawyers and paralegals all over the country. Well, maybe not, but it may help a bit.
