There's all kinds of reasons to study things you THINK you'll never use again in your life.

I understand there's issues with the British exams system and all testing and evaluation and reward systems and our methods of education and reward are ALWAYS open to review, critique and innovation, but the arguments here are bad.

This reminds me of the right-wing students who attack college professors because they KNOW they shouldn't being taught about stuff.
