(5,279 posts)But it is definitely an example of different responses for different body hues and plumbing. I did find it interesting that everyone followed the preprogrammed stereotypes.

but, I think it is profiling when you have a different response to the same situation based on race.

(5,279 posts)All three admitted to stealing. No suspicion of criminal activity, Just public responses seemed to be based on color and then gender. An interesting experiment I'd like to see than to a full study; nationwide, urban and rural, and more variables added. What would be the public response if the thief was a fifty something well dressed black woman?
