(3,539 posts)What ever role GOP co. may or may not have had in this, at the moment they flatly do not know how to use it to their advantage.
And use it to their advantage they will.
Just as sure as they would have used the Boston bombing or Benghazi to their advantage had the NSA been put on a very short leash when Obama first took office.
Other GOP balloonists might be Sarah Palin, Allen West, Ted Cruz and so forth.
What will they have to spin?
One thing I am certain of.
Yup, he's going to say it again.
Somewhere Karl Rove is laughing his ass off.

(32,017 posts)I think your assessment is correct. Both parties seem shellshocked. They don't seem to know how to respond, but I certainly hope Democrats are thinking of ways to use this mess to our advantage. I am much less worried about what the Republicans are trying to do with it. I'd like to see the Democratic Party act, and not just react.

(4,757 posts)I point out how he is wrong and show them facts. They believe the the college drop-out over the college graduate every time.
Cause he is on TV!
SamKnause
(13,110 posts)That's sad.
I have been trying to educate some of my family members.
They are not very political.
Thank goodness none of them watch Fox.

(56,828 posts)he lost his job over one inaccurate report on Bush, so if Hannity is so dishonest, why is he still on the air? Have they used that one at all?

(8,291 posts)And I love that list. That would be just what I would respond with...don't know Kouddous or Tm Pool but RIGHT ON, with the rest!
Excellent.
SamKnause
(13,110 posts)Kouddous is part of the Democracy Now team.
He is Egyptian but lived in the U.S.
He moved back to Egypt to cover the Egyptian uprising.
Tim Pool covers the Occupy Wall Street movements, on Tim Pool's LiveStream. He would livestream for 18 or 20 hours straight. There is another man by the name of Vlad that also covers OWS. They are both in Istanbul Turkey now.

(13,110 posts)I left out Bill Moyers.

Sadly, she'd be on your "deceased" list ( )- but tons of great stuff to read and it still applies today.

(14 posts)Do you think people like this EVER realize what they are? Or do you think they already know, they just don't care because they are being paid?
