Bashir & Guests Burst Into Chorus of Laughter at Conservative ‘Faith & Freedom Coalition’ Speakers
After playing a series of clips of speakers from this week’s Faith & Freedom Coalition conference, the guests of MSNBC’s Martin Bashir burst into a chorus of laughter.
On Friday, Bashir played a series of clips featuring conservative speakers like former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, former Rep. Allen West (R-FL), and conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly.
After playing these clips, Bashir asked former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele how the GOP can appeal to new voters if they are still courting the conservative base. Steele had no response, prompting the program’s guests to erupt with laughter.
