I understand what he was getting at, but I always thought it was better to speak up to someone to their face than to talk bad about them behind their back. I agreed with Bill's real point, but thought his expression was weaker than usual.

BTW, Bill is coming to do a fundraiser for the Alabama Democratic Party in Huntsville next month. I'm sure he'll still get paid, but apparently he's splitting the gate with the party. It should be interesting.

They're a bunch of racists. Plain and simple.

Colbert's display of heroic and noble courage was simply the most awe inspiring act of JOURNALISM of the entire Bush dark decade.

Colbert crawled into the belly of the beast, alone and unarmed, and told Bush TO HIS FACE to go fuck himself in front of the world.

Colbert is a great American, pure and simple.

And Colbert actually did nothing rude to bushcos face. He did not point, yell or interrupt. He did what he's paid to do - political comedy. The fact that the repubs picked the wrong person was not his concern.

I think Bill is absolutely correct on this issue.

that Bush is a flaming fool and brought on the largest part of his ridicule himself. Not so with Obama.

News media began calling nuclear; new Q Lur, for the shrimp. I don't hear them calling Pakistan Pokistan like Obama.

No, there is a definate difference. It's true, I lost a lot of respect for the office with the fool in there, but this is more about the black guy than anything else.

... "What part about WHITE house don't you understand?" - if you haven't seen it, you will. I've seen it on several vehicles with similarly intelligent stickers like "FOX - the ONLY news source" and "LIBERAL HUNTING LICENSE" (with small print I haven't bothered to read). The key point Maher made was that while the GOP hated Johnson, Carter and Clinton, they didn't treat them like second-class citizens in their presence. President Obama must have amazing self-control to put up with the shit they've done to him.

After all, this black really-a-Muslim socialist/communist terrorist sympathizer and community organizer of uncertain birthplace whose close personal friends are all former Black Panthers and Weather Underground is gonna confiscate all our guns and ammo, surrender the country to the Dreaded Islamofascists, burn all the Bibles and turn us into a Third World country just like Europe.

And that wife of his wants our kids to eat healthy food in the bargain!

That's pretty scary stuff!
