There should be no "secrete" government anything!

If the government has secrets from the people they meant to represent there is a huge problem.

National "security" is not served by secretive cabals hidden from public scrutiny, quite the opposite.

In light of the new fact that MOST of the secrete spying is being contracted out to private corporations, the word fascism comes to mind.

All intelligence need to be open and transparent, we pay for it we should be able to access it. All of it. If not we do not live in a free and open society and the word democracy does NOT apply.

as well as without. Because when there is NO response from within, it forces the citizenry to take more extreme measures.

Whistleblowers coming forward gives me hope-- that we now have the potential to learn what is actually going on from more varied points of view.

Not every whistleblower has an honest agenda, and not every politician is honest either--- but we as citizens have a duty and a right to seek out the truth in whatever means is necessary.
