"War on Drugs" are pretty stupid in the first place. Allowing unconstitutional searches enhanced by drug sniffing dogs just adds fuel to the stupidity.
And as everyone knows, "The Stupid... It burns..!!"...

The Police get a cut of the value of any property seized. With Money being tight, it is an incentive to do anything to bust people for Drugs.
Get rid of Civil Forfeture and most of this will go away.

Face it, dogs sniff EVERY butt they encounter. It's like e-mail or something.
