Bullied Girl Voted the Ugliest on the Internet Gives an Amazing Speech

You go, girl.

Lizzie Velasquez was born with a rare disease that makes it impossible for her to gain weight. A few years ago so discovered that internet bullies cruelly voted her the "ugliest on the Internet." Rising above her tormentors she has gone on to succeed greatly in life.

But she is something else. ( I'd like to meet mom and dad. Now THAT's parenting.)

but not so fond of the last two minutes, which apparently were edited from a longer speech.

God put me here for a reason? If that is true, the only reason I can see, is that so the other people he put here will have a place to wipe their feet. Yeah, what a blessing.

The publisher is a Catholic organization - this could have been filmed in a church. I was just sent the link so reposted it.

I actually thought that she was quite attractive. She's obviously beautiful inside. Not to crazy about the god credits. I would credit the parents.

She has so much to offer. I feel better about my "issues" just listening to her. A little churchy for my taste, but whatever gets you through is okay by me.

I especially wish all the verbal bullies online would consider her words.
