has killed two fellow prisoners and a guard. I don't have an issue with lifetime solitary for him. If we get rid of the death penalty we must be willing to ramp up to some punishment for murdering someone when you are already serving a life sentence. In addition you have to consider the safety of the guards and the other prisoners.

The weird thing, so long as I had access to books, I would prefer solitary to general confinement if I was in prison.
