I did not know that all the heinous anti-women voter suppression laws came about because of this rich guy Pope? My guess is that it was his money that got the regressive creepy Republicans elected?

5. Organize People

I do not have a problem with rich Democrats putting large amounts of money into local, or national elections; however; I do not think the lack of rich Democratic money in elections is the problem. I also do not think rich Democrats putting large amounts of money into state and local elections is the solution. The Democratic Party has to start organizing people. In addition, it has to start training people how to run campaigns. The Democratic Party needs to make sure that every public college has an active Young and/or College Democrats group. Once that happens it needs to make sure that those students are kept in contact with Democrats who are running for office, people running campaigns, and elected officials. Finally, the Democratic Party needs to conduct strong get out the vote programs every time there is an election.
