1. There are few unusual things about these searches.

First, the decisions to instigate these searches are being made by male officers while the female officers actually perform the search. When the officers are being disciplined the male officers receive only a suspension while the female officers are terminated from employment.

Second, why are they doing body cavity searches while not bothering to search the socks and shoes of the women involved? These are much more obvious places to search than body cavities.

All these incidents should generate lawsuits and the public needs to be made aware of what's going on.

Who in their right mind supports roadside body cavity searches? Put this to a statewide referendum and see if voters think troopers should be doing this to ANYONE on the side of the highway. It's an outrageous violation of a basic human dignity and we should get serious about putting a stop to it.

And "... up close and personal with your woman area" did he really say that? This seems like one of those cops that dreamed of a job where he gets to carry a gun and might even get to shoot people since the 6th grade. I think the majority of men who really want badly to become a cop are exactly the types who shouldn't be.
