Rush reached out to the youth of America today.

He was complaining about the President appearing on the Tonight Show (how dare that man show his face?) and then mentioned that President Kennedy had appeared with Jack Parr. Realizing that a reference to Jack Parr might confuse the younger members of his audience, he then clarified that Parr was a predecessor to Johnny Carson.

Carson left the air in 1992, Rush.
