I was raised to put principles over personalities. I feel a loyalty to the Bill of Rights, not to some celebrity.

I've been very surprised to find that what makes a lot of people tick is blind loyalty to a specific individual.

I knew there was a lot of that on the right. There's also a lot of it on the left.

8. Hitler controlled Germany by having a program where one turned in their neighbor

for any small suspension. People were expected to report on a neighbor having a child with a mental impairment. Children with disabilities could and were rounded up and sent to special orphanages. The very impaired were killed on site and buried on the grounds.
