Obviously, he has no idea that poor people don't have fridges or AC, the landlord does and often neither works correctly, not that poor folks know about the AC, they can't afford to turn it on. The fridge is there because no one can let an apartment without it. It is likely empty. The cell phone is cheaper than a land line and essential for getting a job, as is an address. The TV and microwave were either purchased before the person fell into poverty or were bought at a pawn shop or thrift shop and are on their last legs.

I'd like to see this idiot make a budget for a single adult on minimum wage. In fact, I dare him to.

However, being enough of a coward that he never sets foot anywhere but Pox, he is unlikely to take me up on it.
