(3,991 posts)Look at what this woman does to the illusory nonsense reporting that's way to common. It really is a sledge hammer attack. Its freaking brutal. She sets herself so many levels above and beyond. I feel sorry for MSM reporters: How can they report their trite manipulations and compete with her? Only a venue that would let them be 100% themselves would give them a chance, but most of them don't get that, they are told what to say.
Yes, Martin nails it again, with good old fashioned ethics of caring for each other, and seeing beyond ourselves. The timeless moral core. This is the kind of stuff you stand up for not because it might make you part of a social group, this is the stuff you stand up for alone in the valley of the shadow of death because its just that real. This is the stuff that in the long view of history, does not lose.

(2,672 posts)...but avariciousness is a determining factor in what we're experiencing today. The 1% are collectively hoarding trillions of dollars that they stole from the world's populace. Yet, they come and go as they please, grunting and squealing like pigs in delight in their never ending quest to dive into the money trough, stampeding in their little hooves and trampling anyone that gets in their way.
Rant off...
Martin is a breath of fresh air.

(27,137 posts)...our chase for them and the games played to make us struggle and fight against each other in so doing, our willingly indebting ourselves and our futures, selling our lives like indentured servants, and our ultimate acquiescence to its use as a measure of value, that enables its apparent and continuing validity. Lord knows it's otherwise worthless, many times over.
It's worth something because we say it is, and everyone is afraid of the Nut-In-The-Neighborhood-With-The-Nukes. And after enough videos on the evening news all over the world, of the women and babies the United States have murdered with their drones today -- for FREEDOM -- well, people start getting the message and they use dollars. If they know what's good for them.
They are like terrible children these rich of modern times, little tyrants with immense power to hurt or to harm. The overriding mindset here is that of a dualistic, conflict-oriented, primitivism. With nuclear capabilities. And they understand something very essential to it all, and which most people totally overlook.

(53,235 posts)The barrier needs to stop being nurtured. Because of all the pain and brainwashing in the world, that barrier keep being formed and we can't stop that, but we can stop glorifying them.
