Selling of public assets to pay debts created by corrupt "representatives" in collusion with their corporate asshole buddies is unacceptable,. This will not end well,. the people do not agree with the move to undermine democracy.

effective yes; but still something to be avoided as much as possible.
The old saying that "violence solves nothing" is wrong. Violence always changes the outcome. The problem is the final outcome is very difficult to predict. The greater the violence, the greater the skew in the prediction.

I thought people where empowered to use "deadly force" to stop the committing of a felony ? Would not stealing public property be a felony.., just saying.

However, I currently am making my living writing books nobody reads and had an intriguing thought about a plot based on what we are speaking about.
Say, if someone was say a billionaire industrialist.
Who's companies spewed massive amounts of pollution into the environment, and got legal protections enacted through legal bribery. Who paid employees the bare minimum, keeping as many as possible on part time to keep from having to pay them benefits; and were now starting a propaganda campaign to remove base pay protections to further lessen company involvement in employee prosperity. Lets say the industrialist founded a secret organization get as many like-minded morally challenged co-conspirators together and "educate" law makers with lavish vacations and instructional bank books. WAIT...lets say the industrialist's family has been doing exactly that for more than one generation; maybe if the earlier organization had been discredited or mocked somehow.
Oh..let's make the industrialist is really two industrialists, siblings with a single purpose; to engorge themselves with careless disregard to every other person on the Earth. No, not disregard, actual enjoyment in the plight of others.

I wonder if I could write a convincing story line based on the trial of a person or persons accused of the murder of the evil duo. Maybe, the attempted murder of...that way the industrialists could follow their MO and try to influence the trail....Anyway, base it on "stand your ground". The modern (nation wide) version of that old Texas statute of "He needed killing".
The argument of the accused, no longer having legal recourse to halt the agenda of the obviously evil duo intent on world domination or destruction, acted to defend their lives, well being, future well beings, and the same for every other person in the country.
