1. Took him a while to get to the point

The only ones who ever really prospered were the preachers collecting tithes from all the desperate poor folks.

Well, those and the already rich who wanted divine blessing to keep all their inherited boodle without sharing.

2. John Piper's problem is

That he read the bible...that will just confuse you if you want to believe in the prosperity Gospel.

But the prosperity religion is really the worship of Mammon but done under the name of Jesus as an insult to the truth.
