... in that you are informed by the presenter of Chelsea Manning's likely "cruel an unusual punishment", which is the side of the argument when considering her "gender disphoria".

This is information to me, even though I didn't watch CNN (and the presenter of the video comments after doing this). I agree with the argument he makes over the issue of Bradley Manning/Chelsea Manning serving prison time.

I already feel violated that BM/CM has to serve ANY time, but I realize the bigger issue to bring up at this point.

AND.... if you were faced with this issue (I think I'm weighing in here, now) with having TO serve under those conditions, what is cruel and unusual punishment.

I say throw this wrench into the sentencing and serving time because it will serve two important issues...

1) The primary one being for me that our justice system would rather jail whistle blowers who have committed NO ESPIONAGE WORTHY OF THIS SENTENCING, while the Bush administration (only to be followed by the Obama administration) has tramped all over our civil rights and given war criminals a break.

2) I now understand a little more about gender disphoria and the mental pain normally inflicted, which is exacerbated under prison life.

Free Bradley Manning means...
Free Chelsea Manning!

5. I think it's pointing to an obvious generational audience... CNN

I can weigh in on baby boomers, cause I'm one of them. I cannot believe the persons in MY generation who have checked out... become unhealthy, fattened up on brain doping (CNN, unhealthy habits creating a worse burden on our ever devolving health care delivery system) who should know better as to what's going on in this country, but they DON'T... It has to do with the way they get and process their news.

Do a survey of who watches CNN and tell me if I'm wrong about it's majority of it's audience. I refuse to watch that piece of shit cable network. I guess I'm one of those children of the 60's who didn't follow the Homer Simsons watching CNN.
