Papantonio: Texas Fracked Into An Even Deeper Drought

Last edited Mon Aug 26, 2013, 12:32 PM - Edit history (1)

The state of Texas has been experienced one of the worst droughts in the state's history, and fresh water is becoming more and more scarce. But that hasn't stopped the natural gas industry from snatching up as much water as possible for their fracking operations, and that's leaving residents with no water. Ring of Fire host Mike Papantonio talks about this with Gaius Publius, contributing editor for America Blog.

Of course they will be coming for more of the Colorado River... The next wars will surely be over water as climate change and stupid acts such as this play out across the world.

Republicans said there is no such thing as climate change
and fracking is fine, must support business at any cost, a few humans die, well collateral damage
Texas deserves it, I have no sympathy for them

They bought into the ConArtist Conservative propaganda and they can die with it.

I just feel sorry for the ones who opposed these malignant narcissists. I hope they survive.

no matter if citizen's drinking water districts are effected. The State of Texas should be providing for or paying to have water replaced so as to not bring harm to people and their niche.
