Moses at age 80 argued with God about turning away from the Promised Lands, of the Promise Child, and going the other way for 40 years. The punishment for Moses was that Moses could not cross from East to West across the Jordan River into the Promised Land 40 years later at age 120.
Moses spent 40 years in Africa seeing its wealth, 40 years in Media and 40 years in Arabia, Africa and East of the Jordan River. I believe that after the Golden Calf fell into the Earth at the earth quake near Mount Sinai, the family of Jacob/Israel which included the 80 year old Levite, Moses, went south (through Arabia) to mind gold in Africa, to later put on the Temple, housing the Ark of God (and the Ark) in Judea and Israel. Gold stands for God in Temple.
According to a later chapter of the Bible, the body of Moses was retrieved by the Arch-Angel Micheal.
What is the punishment for arguing with God about Church and State? I believe that it is an invasion from/of East to West. Moses knew that the remnant/The Promise, moves North. He did not realize that the State moves from East to West, enen though God told him to move South, the opposite of the Promise. Are we doing the same today, moving West to East?
The Monroe Doctrine says we will not move South. This is the New World.
